You can outgrow a story without betraying the people in it. The Healer of the Kindred Horizon is healer work done in a kindred way, on the path of the Horizon.

When it fails

You notice everyone except yourself. Care becomes control, or you abandon what was just starting to root.

When it works

Tending that includes the tender. You keep life workable — for others and for yourself — without needing to be needed.
