You stand as the Healer. You notice before you fix. Care, in you, has no condescension. You see what needs feeding while others are still arguing about the problem. The manner is gentle feeding. You tend what is young, tender, or not yet named. You do not confuse a dramatic cure with the slow work of making a body, a friendship, or a day able to continue. The realm is the Hearth — a place a body can rest. Without that, nobody recovers. When the Healer doubles, the feeder starves. Include yourself. Taking care of the healer is not vanity. The Double Healer of the Hearth is healer work done in a gentle way, on the path of the Hearth.

When it fails

You notice everyone except yourself. Care becomes control, or you abandon what was just starting to root.

When it works

Tending that includes the tender. You keep life workable — for others and for yourself — without needing to be needed.

Feed what is already alive in you. Then feed what is alive near you. In that order. Keep what is actually alive. Let go of the care that is really control.
